JOB LOCATION: Inkosi Mhlabunzima Maphumulo House, Pietermaritzburg
REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of five years of experience at a middle or senior managerial level in an environment related to human resource development, along with possession of a valid driver’s license (minimum Code B) are required. Additionally, an undergraduate degree in human resource development, human resource management, or public administration (NQF Level 7) recognized by SAQA is required. DUTIES:
Preserve and improve the department’s ability to manage employee performance. Oversee and oversee bursaries and programs for skill development. Oversee the staff growth and training of the department.
Oversee the Department’s delivery of efficient and thorough support services for human resource development.
Give the Directorate general strategic direction and leadership. Chair the Human Resource Development Committee and serve as its secretary and advisor. Oversee the creation and execution of departmental, provincial, and national human resource development directives, strategies, and plans. Control the efficient use of available resources.
