Position Overview

We are looking for a responsible, motivated, and detail-oriented Office Cleaner to join our facilities team. This individual will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in our office spaces and supporting a healthy working environment for all employees. The ideal candidate is dependable, works well independently, and understands the importance of cleanliness and hygiene in a professional setting.


Key Responsibilities

As an Office Cleaner at AVBOB, your duties will include but are not limited to:

General Cleaning Tasks

  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum all office floors daily

  • Dust and wipe down office furniture, desks, countertops, and indoor plants or flowers

  • Empty, sanitize, and reline all office waste bins

Sanitation and Hygiene

  • Clean and disinfect hand basins, toilets, urinals, and sinks

  • Ensure restrooms are always stocked with toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels

  • Follow proper hygiene practices when handling cleaning equipment and supplies

Kitchen and Refreshment Duties

  • Make tea and coffee for staff and guests as requested

  • Wash and dry dishes, clean dishcloths and kitchen surfaces

  • Refill tea, coffee, sugar, and other refreshments in dispensers

  • Ensure the water cooler is always filled and cleaned regularly

Additional Tasks

  • Clean windows and glass surfaces in and around the office

  • Assist with setting up refreshment stations for meetings or staff events

  • Report any maintenance issues, supply shortages, or hygiene concerns to the supervisor


Requirements

  • Previous experience as an office or commercial cleaner (advantageous)

  • Good understanding of hygiene and cleaning protocols

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Physically fit and capable of performing physical tasks (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods)

  • Attention to detail and a strong work ethic

  • Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
