What You’ll Be Doing:

As part of the Learnership Program, your daily duties may include the following:

Warehouse Operations:

• Binning:

  • Place new stock into correct bin locations in the warehouse

  • Update bin locations and report any changes to your supervisor

  • Replenish inventory from bulk areas to picking areas

  • Assist in managing and organizing incoming stock

• Picking:

  • Pick customer and branch orders accurately and on time

  • Only pick from bulk if necessary (e.g. no stock in pick location)

  • Prevent product damage by following correct picking procedures

  • Double-check picked orders to ensure accuracy

  • Assist in stock-taking and maintain daily housekeeping

• Scanner Control:

  • Issue scanners to operators daily and record using the system

  • Inspect returned scanners and report any damage

  • Maintain and update scanner issue records

Who Can Apply:

To qualify for this Learnership, you must meet the following requirements:

• Completed Grade 12/Matric

• Must be a South African Citizen

• Between the ages of 18 and 25

• Not currently registered for any other YES Learnership

• Not studying at any other institution and available immediately
