What You’ll Be Doing:
As part of the Learnership Program, your daily duties may include the following:
Warehouse Operations:

Binning:
-
Place new stock into correct bin locations in the warehouse
-
Update bin locations and report any changes to your supervisor
-
Replenish inventory from bulk areas to picking areas
-
Assist in managing and organizing incoming stock
-

Picking:
-
Pick customer and branch orders accurately and on time
-
Only pick from bulk if necessary (e.g. no stock in pick location)
-
Prevent product damage by following correct picking procedures
-
Double-check picked orders to ensure accuracy
-
Assist in stock-taking and maintain daily housekeeping
-

Scanner Control:
-
Issue scanners to operators daily and record using the system
-
Inspect returned scanners and report any damage
-
Maintain and update scanner issue records
-
Who Can Apply:
To qualify for this Learnership, you must meet the following requirements:

Completed Grade 12/Matric
-
Must be a South African Citizen
-
Between the ages of 18 and 25
-
Not currently registered for any other YES Learnership
-
Not studying at any other institution and available immediately
