Key Responsibilities:

As a General Worker, your role will be crucial in supporting the smooth operation of the packaging department. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Ensuring strict adherence to housekeeping standards and safety protocols within the production environment

• Conducting thorough cleaning of machines and surrounding areas to maintain hygiene and operational readiness

• Assisting with equipment and production line change-overs in a time-efficient manner

• Supporting quality assurance by monitoring processes and maintaining control systems on the line

• Operating machinery on occasion, provided appropriate training and qualification has been completed

• Accurately capturing process control data and performing essential administrative duties

• Maintaining detailed and accurate production records and documentation

• Participating actively in Mini Business activities and continuous improvement initiatives

Candidate Profile:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications, skills, and attributes:

• A minimum of a Grade 12 (Matric) qualification is essential

• Prior experience in a production or packaging environment will be highly advantageous

• Completion of relevant skills programmes or certifications is a plus

• Willingness and flexibility to work extended hours or shifts, as needed

• Reliable transport to and from the workplace

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

• Sound knowledge and application of safe working procedures

• Strong ability to work independently and under pressure

• A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to quality and teamwork
