REQUIREMENTS:
Matric/Senior Certificate/Grade 12 and a degree or diploma in midwifery or general nursing, plus a year of post-basic training in primary health care, in accordance with R212 SANC Regulation. As a professional nurse with a focus on clinical nursing science, health assessment, treatment, and care, and as a primary health care nurse or community health nurse, I am currently registered with SANC.
nine years of appropriate/recognizable experience as a professional nurse with a SANC in general nursing, of which five years must have been gained after completing the one-year post-basic qualification in community health assessment, treatment, and care or primary health care nurse.
Knowledge and Skills: This includes familiarity with the Nursing Act, Mental Health Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Batho-Pele and Patients Right Charter, Labour Relation Act, Grievance Procedures, and other pertinent legal frameworks. aptitude for problem-solving, organizational decision-making, and leadership. Interpersonal abilities include negotiation, public relations, team building, addressing conflict, and counselling. financial and budgetary understanding of the pertinent resources that are managed. proficiency with computers in fundamental programs. familiarity with labour relations, departmental policies, the normal scope of practice, and SANC regulations.
DUTIES:
delivery of all-encompassing primary health care. oversight of the efficient execution of all programs at all locations and mobile units. supervision of the rendering of services in compliance with policies and norms. Take part in, oversee, and encourage operational managers’ involvement in Sukuma Sakhe’s operations.
To guarantee that every facility achieves at least 70% ICRM scoring, support and oversee the efficient implementation of ICDM and NCS. Each facility will register at least 40% NCD and 60% ARV on CCMDD if the appointment system and CCMDD implementation are effectively overseen at the facilities. Offer administrative support. Oversee and ensure that all staff members’ EPMDS are completed and turned in on time.
Make sure your weekly off assignments are completed, turned in on time, and displayed somewhere in the building. Make ensuring that SOPs are followed when managing data. All staff employees have access to and communication about data dictionaries and data policies. Track the development, implementation, and evaluation of QIPs. Verify that the clinic has approved TIER.
ETR and NET keep things that way. delivery of medical care. Track the administration of medications classified as schedule 5 and 6, and perform quarterly monthly stock counts for these medications. delivery of instructional services. Oversee and assist in determining each employee’s training needs across all facilities. Utilization of machinery and equipment. Oversee and guarantee that inventory books and forms are readily available and current in every facility. Encourage and oversee the proper procurement and upkeep of equipment across all facilities.
