Purpose of the Role

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Store Assistant to join our team within the Food and Beverage division. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that high-quality products are received, prepared, and presented to customers efficiently and in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in all working areas in strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.

• Comply with all food safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.

• Prepare and serve menu items accurately and efficiently according to company SOPs, maintaining speed and consistency at all times.

• Provide excellent customer service by being friendly, helpful, and professional at all customer touchpoints.

• Handle products and packaging with care to minimize waste and uphold quality presentation.

• Support the team with stock receiving and preparation, ensuring freshness and proper storage of ingredients.

• Participate in daily cleaning schedules and assist in overall store maintenance.

Minimum Requirements

• National Senior Certificate / Grade 12 (Essential).

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant, fast-food outlet, or similar customer-facing food service environment.

• Strong customer service orientation.

• Effective verbal communication skills with both customers and team members.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time efficiently.

• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the business.
