Job Title: Parts Warehouse Assistant
Grade: Global Grade 04

Reporting to: Warehouse Supervisor / Manager
Job Purpose
The Parts Warehouse Assistant is responsible for supporting the efficient and accurate operation of the warehouse by managing inventory, ensuring timely order fulfillment, maintaining safety standards, and contributing to overall warehouse performance. This role is vital to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and internal operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities / Outputs

Meet and Exceed Daily KPIs
Consistently perform tasks in line with or above daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including productivity, accuracy, and efficiency targets. -
Order Fulfillment
Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders correctly and on time, ensuring adherence to order specifications, delivery deadlines, and quality requirements. -
SOP Compliance and Safety
Execute all duties in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and health and safety guidelines. Maintain a safe working environment and immediately report any hazards or unsafe practices. -
Stock Control and Maintenance
Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records. Conduct regular stock counts and help minimize stock losses or damages through proper handling and storage of parts. -
Inventory Accuracy
Ensure correct picking, binning, labeling, and location tracking of parts to maintain a high level of inventory accuracy and efficient stock rotation. -
Discrepancy Resolution
Investigate and resolve stock variances quickly and effectively. Work with team leaders and inventory controllers to implement preventative measures against recurring discrepancies. -
Housekeeping
Maintain clean and organized work areas, including shelves, floors, and equipment. Comply with the company’s 5S or similar housekeeping standards.
Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum of Grade 12 (Matric) certificate

Valid Driver’s Licence

Eligible and willing to be trained as a Forklift Operator

Customer Service Orientation: Understand and respond to customer needs promptly and professionally.

Basic Parts Knowledge: Familiarity with vehicle or machinery parts and stock handling procedures is an advantage.
