Job Summary

Boxer Superstores is looking for dedicated, hardworking individuals to join our Distribution Centre team in Benoni, Gauteng. We are offering multiple opportunities in various areas of warehouse operations, including Receiving, Picking, Loading, Cycle Counting, Forklift and Reach Truck Operation, Stock Auditing, and Stock Combining.

Minimum Requirements

Education:

• Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate (Matric) is required.

Experience:

• 0 to 2 years’ experience in a warehouse, supply chain, or distribution setting.

• A valid Forklift or Reach Truck license is required for equipment operator positions.

Technical Skills:

• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is advantageous, especially for roles involving stock tracking or cycle counting.

Availability:

• Must be willing and able to work on a rotating shift basis, which includes:

  • Day shifts and night shifts

  • Weekends (including Sundays)

  • Public holidays

Available Roles and Responsibilities

General Worker:

• Manage the return of overstocked, damaged, or short-dated stock to designated areas in the distribution centre promptly and accurately.

Picker:

• Pick and prepare store orders based on picking slips, ensuring items and quantities match store requirements.

Cycle Counter:

• Perform ongoing inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies in stock levels.

Forklift Driver:

• Operate a forklift to safely load and offload trucks, as well as transport and stack stock pallets within the warehouse.

Reach Truck Driver:

• Use a reach truck to move and store stock on high warehouse racks with precision.

Auditor:

• Conduct quality control checks on outbound stock, confirming quantities, checking for damage, and verifying expiry dates before dispatch.

Combiner:

• Combine individual stock items onto pallets, shrink-wrap them securely, and prepare them for delivery to stores.
