REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY:
Grade 12 with a Basic qualification recognized by SANC under Government Notice 425 (a nursing diploma or degree), or an equivalent qualification that permits registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse, plus a post-basic nursing qualification recognized by SANC under Government Notice No. R212 in the relevant speciality, with a minimum one-year duration.
9 years minimum of appropriate/recognizable nursing experience following registration with SANC as a professional nurse; of that duration, at least 5 years must be appropriate/recognizable experience following 1 year of basic training in the applicable speciality (Advanced Midwifery and Neonatal Nursing Science). It is necessary to have a valid driver’s license and be computer literate. awareness of all laws pertaining to health care services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
administration of the establishment by offering high-quality, all-encompassing community health care. Provide clinical and instructional services in addition to facility administration. administration of machinery and equipment.
Management of the facility’s supply chain, finances, and human resources. Assure that the clinical team adheres to the Nursing Standards and the Scope of Practice when practising.
Create reports, evaluate information, find gaps, and take corrective action. Make sure that the facility maintains accurate records. Control of resources inside the building. Oversee and keep an eye on staff development’s output and performance. Oversee employees’ licenses with the pertinent professional associations. Encourage high-quality nursing care in accordance with the ideal clinic’s norms and standards. Make sure the community is involved.
